The sports car is a product of collaboration between Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing to develop a track-oriented car entirely usable and enjoyable as a road car, conceived by Adrian Newey, Dr Andy Palmer, Christian Horner and Simon Spoule. The car's makers claim the title of fastest street-legal car in the world for it Valkyrie delivers 1,000 hp, which is a nice round figure, but Aston Martin decided to give it some extra boost with the addition of a 155-hp electric motor. In total, you get 1,155 horsepower, which gives the Valkyrie Aston martin a 0-60 time of just 2.6 seconds. The aston martin valkyrie top speed is 220 mph / 354 km/h. Both cars look fast, even when standing still, thanks to a wild aerodynamic package that's somehow street legal. The Valkyrie is one of the few new cars with real Formula 1 DNA. While it bears the appearance of a street-legal racecar and was crafted in compliance with the World Endurance Championship (WEC) Hypercar rules, the Aston Martin Valkyrie wasn’t initially drafted for a motorsports berth. However, that narrative is changing. The Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro started its life way back in 2017 as the AM RB001. This was the product designed and created by the legendary designer Adrian Newey. The idea was to take inspiration from the Formula 1 car and make all that technology, speed, and innovation available for the masses in the form of a street-legal car. The production car, we're told, will be fully street-legal, including in the US. The picture tweeted by Aston Martin was taken at a Valkyrie buyers' event held during the Monaco Grand Prix E0Or.
